Before today, I thought I had a decent handle on sales and marketing — but Hustle Academy Day 2 made me realise I’ve only been scratching the surface. We covered everything from setting clear revenue goals to understanding the real journey customers take before buying. And let me tell you — it changed how I think about my business.
📊 The Power of a Real Revenue Goal
One of the first things we worked on was turning vague hopes into SMART revenue goals. Instead of saying “I want to grow,” I now have a clear target: increase monthly revenue by 30% within the next 60 days by improving my vehicle import timeline and onboarding more clients. It felt empowering to stop guessing and start planning.
🧠 The Consumer Funnel Hit Harder Than I Expected
I’ve heard of customer funnels before, but today made me realise I haven’t really been guiding people through mine. I saw that I’ve been expecting people to go from interest to purchase without much support in between. Now, I’m thinking differently — clearer updates, better follow-up, and helping people take one small step at a time.
What clicked most for me was this: it’s not just about getting leads. It’s about nurturing them through the funnel with the right messages at the right time. That alone made today worth it.

Here’s one simple change I’m making from now on: I’ll explain delivery timelines clearly and consistently to all leads. Just being more open and structured about that single point could increase trust and lead to faster conversions. I’ll also follow up more intentionally with past leads who didn’t convert — especially now that the process is improving.
